Dan has over 20 years’ consultancy experience and is an expert in forecasting and business case development for road and transit projects, advising public and private sector clients throughout North America.
Dan has worked on a wide range of projects including economic evaluation and business case development across all transportation modes, policy and strategy advice, pedestrian modelling and traffic microsimulation. One of Dan’s key focus areas has been P3 infrastructure projects where he has advised owners, sponsors and lenders on the robustness of traffic and revenue forecasts. Dan’s recent experience includes developing investment grade forecasts for the REM Express LRT project in Montreal and developing the business case for the Surrey-Newton-Guildford LRT line in Metro Vancouver.
At Steer, Dan leads the Canadian P3 offer supporting owners, sponsors and lenders in the development of traffic and revenue forecasts for road and transit projects. His extensive skills and experience enable him to lead and support a wide range of transport planning projects from strategic planning to implementation.
