Gabor has over 10 years of experience in international economics, focusing on economic geography. He has wide interests in the economics of infrastructure and policy and engages especially with questions of economic equity, social equity, and inequalities of opportunity.
Gabor joined Steer in 2023 after co-leading the economics team in the United States for WSP, where his focuses included transportation equity, prioritization frameworks, probabilistic risk analyses, equitable uses of data, and demand and revenue forecasting. He has published and presented on these topics at global conferences and has previously worked at the World Bank and in international finance.
