Philip is a Chartered Engineer with 35 years’ experience in transport planning and traffic engineering. He leads teams advising clients on aspects of transport within the development and operational arena.

Philip provides strategic advice to private and public-sector clients working on projects from feasibility through to project delivery. He has developed access strategies for many significant travel generators including urban masterplans, national exhibitions and airports. Philip has an excellent reputation in the public examination field and has appeared as an expert witness at public inquiries, the Lands Tribunal, at the High Court and examinations in public.

At Steer, Philip is a director of our major developments team. He provides project guidance with a portfolio ranging from small housing developments through to urban masterplans and international airports.
