John Lawrence was appointed as a new Non-Executive Director of transport consultancy Steer Davies Gleave. Today John joins his first company Board meeting replacing Andy Costain, who stepped down in the summer.
John is a strategist for the financial services sector and has advised financial decision makers for over twenty five years. Since 1992, John has run his own financial consultancy business Lawrence Somerset Ltd. based in London. John has a strong consulting and management pedigree, he previously worked with Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc, as part of its Financial Services Practice from 1985 to 1992 and before that with PA Consulting Group.

John has a first class honors degree in Physics from Imperial College London and an MBA from the London Business School.
