The ‘Learn about Operational Research’ video featuring Steer Davies Gleave’s Danielle Czauderna talking about the Emirates Stadium project, was recently awarded the Institute of Videography’s prestigious Best Corporate Video prize for 2009. It was selected for the top prize from a field of over 100 entrants.
The video was commissioned as part of the Operational Research in Schools initiative to promote careers in OR. This initiative is run by the OR Society, which has members in 53 countries, and provides training, conferences and publications to those working in Operational Research. The Society also provides information about Operational Research to interested members of the general public.
Operational Research is the discipline of applying advanced analytical methods to help make better decisions.
