Steer Davies Gleave is an official supporter of the 2018 World Cup Bid

With anticipation of the winning bid being announced in December, Steer Davies Gleave are proud to announce their involvement as an Official Supplier of England’s bid for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Over 100 maps were used to highlight the ease of travel throughout England and to show the close proximity of facilities. Overview maps, such as world air connections and countries where England 2018 have contributed towards developing football and tackling social issues, were also a key part of supporting the Bid.

Roy McGowan, Director at Steer Davies Gleave said:
“We are excited to be appointed as an Official Supplier of England’s 2018 World Cup Bid and are proud to have helped develop a transport strategy that is safe, efficient and sustainable.

“The transport strategy really drew on the expertise across Steer Davies Gleave, including our coach, rail, ticketing, crowd flow, smarter choices and wayfinding expertise within the company.

Should the Bid be successful, we hope to support England 2018 with the implementation of transport plans for the host cities, as well as on a national level.”
