To support our growing markets, Steer Davies Gleave is delighted to announce the recruitment of two high calibre experts with global credentials; Julian Sindall, as Head of Engineering within our feasibility and technical advisory services, and Peter Piet, who now leads our urban design and landscape team.
Julian Sindall: Julian, a chartered civil engineer, has worked in the rail industry for over 20 years and joins Steer Davies Gleave from Atkins. With a breadth of experience in both light and heavy rail, he has supported clients on high profile projects which include Stage 2 of Etihad Rail (a 650 mile section of mixed freight and passenger railway network across the United Arab Emirates), Docklands Light Railway (London’s first automated light rail system covering 19 miles and carrying over 60 million passengers each year), and the Košice to Vienna broad-gauge railway through Slovakia and Austria (a freight route of some 500 miles through mountains and across the Danube river basin).
